Cooperative Care Course: Level 1

Cooperative Care involves training your dog to willingly and voluntarily participate in various handling and husbandry procedures that are necessary for veterinary or grooming visits, as well as at home care. With a solid training foundation, you can prevent fearful vet and groomer visits for your dog.

Course Description

We have designed a 6 week, private lesson series based on the Level 1 requirements for the TEAM Cooperative Care Certificate Program. During each 20 minute lesson we will introduce two of the Level 1 skills as well as some foundation training skills. Dogs of every age are welcome to attend, however, if your dog is already displaying aggression at the vet’s office you will need to schedule for a behavior consult first.

Our Cooperative Care Course is Inspired by Kindness and Informed by Science.
